Multiple sclerosis: the IGBMC opens its laboratory doors to patients

An original dialogue between multiple sclerosis patients and scientists from the IGBMC is organised on Friday 25 November 2022, from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon, on the occasion of the open house of the Fondation d'Aide à la Recherche sur la Sclérose en Multiple, ARSEP.

As every year, a presentation of the research projects financed by the association is organised. For this edition, two research projects started in 2022 are highlighted, one on myelin repair and the other on the role of lymphocytes. 10 scientists from the IGBMC (a research unit of the CNRS, Inserm and the University of Strasbourg) are involved in these projects, which are funded to the tune of €150,000 by the association. Nearly fifteen patients and relatives are expected to attend the day.

On the programme, between 9.30am and 12pm:

  • Presentation of the ARSEP
  • Presentation of the IGBMC
  • Presentation of the projects by the scientists working on them
  • Visit of the laboratories and the microscopy and flow cytometry platforms involved in the projects
